Mill Valley California
The City of Mill Valley encompasses the hillsides and canyons of the southeast flank of 2,571-foot Mount Tamalpais, 11 miles north of the Golden Gate Bridge and San Francisco. Earliest inhabitants included Coastal Miwok and other early Northern Californian tribes, who settled throughout the North Bay. In Mill Valley, middens have been found near La Goma and Locke Lane, near the Edna Maguire school grounds and on Shelter Hill. In 1834, John Thomas Reed was assigned the first Mexican land grant on the Marin peninsula. This grant encompassed the wilderness areas of Tiburon, Belvedere, and parts of Corte Madera and Mill Valley. He established a mill to provide lumber for the new military post being built in the Presidio, across the bay in San Francisco. During the 1830’s-80’s, Mill Valley was primarily used as a Ranchero, with the abundant and desirable coastal redwood harvested for lumber, and the open, rolling hills used for grazing dairy cattle. The years of 1889-99 marked an era of considerable expansion of Mill Valley. Two main forces in the development of the area were the Tamalpais Land and Water Company and the extension of the railroad. In 1889 the railroad was lengthened into downtown and caused a further expansion in the number of day visitors, hotels, businesses, and immigrants to the area.

Bail Bonds In Mill Valley Ca
The Bail Process is fairly simple. We begin by evaluating the situation. We will find out what charges your loved one has pending against them and what their bail amount is. If they have no bail we will find out why and if and when they will have bail. If we can do anything to help secure bail for them we will. Once Mill Valley Bail Bonds knows the basics of the situation then we can move forward on getting you out of jail. In most situations to bail someone out you will pay a percentage of the total bail amount. For example, if your husband was arrested for assault and his bail was set at 50,000 dollars, the total amount you would pay to bail him out would be 5,000 dollars. Assuming he went to all of his court dates and complied with all requirements of the courts, you would never pay a penny more. In certain situations we will do bail bonds for less than 10 percent of the total bail amount. For example, if you retain a private attorney, we then can do your bail bond at a discounted rate. Depending on the situation you can pay as little as 8 percent. A Mill Valley bail bondsman will help you determine the cost and fees. So that 50,000 dollar bonds' fee goes from 5,000 dollars down to 4,000 dollars, saving you 20 percent or 1,000 dollars.
There are various situations in which we can discount the amount you pay to bail someone out. Since the bail process is a time sensitive matter, call us immediately so we can discuss your options at (415) 578-1300. Sometimes when someone has a high bail amount, generally 100,000 or greater but occasionally less, we require collateral to bail your loved one out of jail in Mil Valley, Marin County or any other part of California. This means that we will put either put a lean on a property or vehicle until the bond is exonerated. This means that until the person that has been bailed out of jail has completed all of their court dates and possible sentence if found guilty, the lean will remain in place. Once the courts requirements have been satisfied, yours and our responsibility for the bail bond is relieved and then afterwards the lean on any property or possession will be removed.
